Please browse this site and enjoy my past and current work in blown and sculptural glass.
My being is, apparently, made of hot glass. Each piece of my work is unique and limited to small series’ of designs. After attending the University of Tennessee and Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, I returned to my hometown to build and run my first glass studio in a cow pasture. Currently, I have a state of the art hot shop studio in a former Frostie Root Beer bottling factory and city Firehall near the historic downtown district of Greeneville, Tennessee.
I bring a foundation of painting and sculpture sensibilities to my glass. Color and form are the driving forces of my work, whether in a simple goblet, or when creating a thought provoking sculpture. I always say; working with glass in molten form is hot, dirty, dangerous, a little bit sexy and certainly humbling. My work is shown extensively and is in numerous public, private, and corporate collections worldwide.
